Sustainability
Built to last, designed responsibly
Sustainability at MyDepot is not about slogans — it is about making products that last, reducing waste, and sourcing responsibly. Here is how we approach it.
Our approach
For us, sustainability starts with durability. The most sustainable product is the one that does not need replacing. As a factory-direct business, we have direct control over material selection, production processes, and how we package and ship our products. That means we can make real decisions, not just promises.
Our focus areas
- Fixture durability — products designed and manufactured to last, reducing how often they need replacing
- Packaging reduction — we minimise packaging without compromising on protection during transit
- Responsible sourcing — we work with suppliers who meet our quality and compliance standards
- Local manufacturing — we support Australian production wherever it is practical and cost-effective
Product longevity
Our manufacturing standards are built around durability. Every product goes through rigorous quality checks at multiple stages of production. This is a direct result of our OEM heritage — we spent years producing fixtures to meet the requirements of Australia’s leading retail and building brands, and those standards apply to every MyDepot product today.
Packaging
We are committed to reducing packaging waste. Wherever possible, we use recyclable materials and avoid unnecessary packaging while still making sure products arrive safely. We encourage our customers to recycle or repurpose packaging materials after unboxing.
Looking ahead
We are actively working on formalising our sustainability program with verified data and public reporting. As we grow, we will continue to prioritise responsible practices across every part of our business. Watch this space.
